“Finally found a product that covers different aspects of emotional intelligence, not just feelings!”

Amanda L.

Meet the four decks

Each deck does a different job. Together, they help children keep going when things feel hard, make sense of big feelings, know what makes them unique, and look after their body and mind.
Made to last

A closer look

Three card types in every deck

To give children different ways to understand, try, and practice emotional intelligence.
Four decks, four important parts of growing up

What each deck helps children do

Bloom Cards are designed to support emotional intelligence through everyday practice. Each deck takes a different part of it.
Growth Mindset Deck

More resilience

The Growth Mindset deck supports children in building resilience, by showing that effort, persistence, and mistakes matter more than getting something right the first time. You might start to hear:

  • "I'm not good at this"to"I’m still learning"
  • “I can’t”to“I’ll give it a go”
  • “I failed”to“What can I try differently next time?”
Big Feelings Deck

More emotional awareness

The Big Feelings deck gives children a way to work out what is going on inside them, and what to do about it.

  • Understanding what they're feeling and why
  • Learning that all feelings are okay, even the uncomfortable ones
  • Finding simple ways to pause, calm, and respond instead of react
Self Identity Deck

More confidence

The Self Identity deck gives children a way to work out what makes them who they are, and to feel good about it.

  • Discovering their likes, values, strengths, and quirks
  • Expressing their thoughts without fear of judgment
  • Feeling proud of what makes them unique
Self Care Deck

More healthy habits

The Self Care deck gives children simple ways to look after themselves, so they can:

  • Notice what they need, and ask for it
  • Build simple habits, from drinking water and eating well to moving, resting, and finding calm
  • Be kind to themselves, especially on the hard days

Bloom Cards
Are Bloom Cards really four separate decks? Plus

Yes. The set contains four decks: Growth Mindset, Big Feelings, Self Identity, and Self Care, with 22 cards in each. They come together as one complete set for $57, which works out to $14.25 per deck. The decks are not sold separately.

Does my child need to use the cards in order? Plus

There is no required order and nothing to complete. Children can choose whichever card fits the moment and mood: some days that is a new idea, some days something to try, some days a few kind words. Across the four decks there are 32 Learning, 28 Activity, and 28 Affirmation Cards, so there is always another way in.

Bloom Cards are made for returning to, not for working through.

Can children use the cards by themselves? Plus

Yes. The same cards can meet a child differently as their reading, reflection, and independence develop.

Ages 6 to 7: Explore together. A grown-up reads, guides the activity, and helps turn the card into a shared moment.

Ages 8 to 9: Share or go solo. Children begin choosing the decks and cards, with a grown-up joining when invited or helpful.

Ages 10 to 12: They take the lead. Children can use most cards independently, with a grown-up nearby as backup and conversation partner.

What is the difference between the three card types? Plus

Each type does a different job, and you can start with any of them.

Learning Cards introduce the idea. Illustrations and simple language make something abstract easier for a child to picture: what a mistake actually is, why feelings come and go.

Activity Cards turn the idea into something to do. A small thing to try, alone or together, so the idea gets practiced rather than just discussed.

Affirmation Cards are the words to keep. Kind phrases a child can repeat until those become the ones they believe about themselves.

Will it work for siblings of different ages? Plus

Yes. The same set meets children differently as they grow, so siblings can use it side by side and return to it as their understanding changes.

helpful tool!

these have been really great to use with my 6-year-old who has been struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, and negative self-talk. He connected with the growth mindset concept in particular. Some of the cards felt a bit repetitive, but there is a lot of "meat" in the set. Happy with this purchase!

Glad I found these

Got these for my 7yo who's been having alot of big feelings lately. wasn't sure if they'd actually help or just be another thing collecting dust but they've made a big difference. Last week she had a total meltdown before school and we did the bubble breathing together and she actually calmed down. Now she'll ask to do the cards when shes upset instead of just screaming, which is huge for us. The activities are simple enough that we actually do them, like we made the calming box with stuff from around the house in 10 minutes. Really happy with these

Worth every dollar

I bought Bloom Cards for my daughter, and they’ve really helped her work through big feelings. Within a week, she was able to describe her emotions more clearly and explain why she feels the way she does. These cards have been a wonderful purchase and are now part of our daily routine.

Love the cards, delivery could be faster

I love the quality and the thought put into Bloom Cards. My kids use the cards 2-3 times a week, and it’s sparked great conversations about how they feel and how to take care of themselves, mentally and physically. The only reason for 4 stars is the shipping delay, but the product itself is excellent.

More than I hoped for

I was most interested in the self identity topic for my daughter since she was struggling with some comments at school. I can already see her feeling more confident and handling tricky situations with other kids better. I’m really glad we found something that not only boosts her self-esteem but also helps her learn other important skills along the way.

A great gift

I bought this set for my grandson’s 7th birthday, and it’s been wonderful hearing him share what he’s learned and which activities he does each day. It has already made such a positive impact on him.

Mistakes don’t scare our son anymore

We were part of the month-long trial, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Our son was really struggling with perfectionism and giving up easily. The learning cards helped him understand what a growth mindset is, and why mistakes are part of learning. He likes to pull an affirmation card before starting homework that says ‘All things are difficult before they are easy’ and keeps it on his desk while he works. It’s such a simple routine, but it’s completely changed how he approaches challenges.

Helped me be a better dad too

I wasn’t raised to talk about feelings or mindset. Bloom Cards gave me the structure I needed to start those conversations with my son. The learning cards guide us, the activity cards make it engaging, and the affirmations leave us on a positive note. It’s helped me show up in a more intentional way, and I feel more confident supporting him as he grows.

Amazing toolkit!

Bloom Cards have been such a beautiful addition to our daily routine. My 8 years old daughter looks forward to picking a card each morning, it opens up important conversations we wouldn’t have had otherwise. The activities are engaging, and have helped her express her feelings, build confidence, and discover more about herself. As a mum, I love knowing that we’re building emotional resilience in a way that feels fun and natural. Highly recommend for any parent wanting to raise a thoughtful, emotionally aware child.
